As the sun began to set, the forest around the village darkened, birds chirping quieted as they nested for bed, rustling leaves of wandering animals settled. women hurried to gather their young children while the men of the village went to close off the gate. The gate was quite large and heavy, it took a minimal of six men to push it closed and secure it. They needed to hurry, the sun was setting. The beast was getting ready to come out. Inside one of the homes a young mother laid her son in his bed, tucking him in with thick blankets. The boy
